ART & SCRIPTURE PAINTING #47 - Hebrews 10:24-25

Hebrews 10:24-25

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24-25

After this long pandemic I can definitely say that I'm tired of it (aren't we all?). This week specifically I must confess that since the church had to shift to online services, slowly my routine to attend church regularly on Sundays was broken and, now, even though the in-person services have resumed with some restrictions, I've been drawn to the convenience of watching church from the TV or on my phone. And forgetting to turn the TV on a Sunday or two when life gets on my way. I'm a mom of 3, trying to have everyone ready and arrive on time to church feels like an impossible task (please tell me I'm not alone on this).

However, this is not right. Through several instances this week I was reminded of that. We need to see one another and encourage one another. And we need to show that we value our time with God at a church. He is worthy way more than all my struggles to make it there with my littles.

So this abstract painting today is a friendly reminder that if you, like me, haven't been attending church in-person for a while, let's get back to it and let's not let this pandemic change this in our lives. The circles represent us, we may seem all so different on the outside but we all have basic needs of fellowship and being together worshiping our God. Here I am to say that I'll be there next Sunday. I hope you too.

Have a wonderful week!
